Those who like hiking, nature and all the culture and tradition surrounding the natural stone industry, have a route in Novelda made for them: The Round-trip Path La Mola by the ancient stonemasons shelters.
This trail runs the old value stonemasons shelters, many of them now restored. One type of ancient stone buildings are a rich heritage and legacy of one of the natural stone industry in Novelda.
It is a round-route of about 4 miles, which takes about two hours, and where 13 former shelter beds are located. The difficulty of this route is medium-low so it is affordable for any lover of this industry that want to deepen our roots.
This trail was opened on June 22 in the activities planned in the First Day of Natural Stone which was held last month in Novelda.
